The Garmin 295 is held safely and securely, but can be easily removed in a matter of seconds. The external power and antenna connections are made at the back of the unit, and the cables are secured from falling into the panel with special keyholes machined into the dock |
Product was great. Device was supposed to fit according to description and installation instructions, but didnt. Company was notified and was told theyd make corrections.
AIRGIZMOS GARMIN 295 PANEL DOCK
Was just a bit disappointed that the outside panel was flush with the mounts there should be at least 1/16th inch over for covering the opening in the dash, very hard to cut that perfectly on a dash that is already in place!

The 295 mount does come with an install kit but you will need to supply angle brackets to mount behind the panel if you do not have an avionics stack brackets.
While Airgizmos does make a panel mount for the Garmin 295, unfortunately they do not make an angle adapter for it. The manufacturer only makes a horizontal angle bracket for the 196, 296, 396 and the 496.
