BECKER AR 6201 COM RADIO 2-1/4 WITH 25 AND 8.33 SPACING
Perfect upgrade from AR4201, in my case exchanging the radio was a case of unpluging and repluging the two radios. There are a few pins that are not backwards compatible on the connector - there is a upgrade manual from Becker if one should need to know.
BECKER AR 6201 COM RADIO 2-1/4 WITH 25 AND 8.33 SPACING
Great Radio, I would definitely recommend their products
Fast and efficient service
Compact radio with great features and plenty of power at a fait price.
This Becker radio was installed in my brand new Stemme S12G Motor glider and I hate it. Im used the the Trig TY91 radio which is so user friendly. The Becker requires extra steps to put in a frequency, and if there is turbulence it becomes very difficult. My transmissions are okay, but my reception is very poor. In part that may be because the antenna is in the tail. Never-the-less Im going back to Trig for my radio.
