The description says this helmet would be perfect for use in the L-39 Albatros -- but actually it would be quite inappropriate for use in any jet warbird, for several reasons. 1. ANR is almost worthless with jet engines. 2. A full-enclosure helmet is needed at the higher speeds of a jet, otherwise it could rip right off your head in an ejection/bailout. This helmet is fine for use in all the other aircraft mentioned in the description.

Per the manufacture this helmet is 2.7 pounds.
This would depend on the Zulu 3 performance in open cockpit. Generally, the Zulu 3 will be effective but in an open cockpit environment it will not filter out all noise.
