The Fuel Flow Transducer measures flows of hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline, kerosene, and #2 diesel fuel and other light transmitting, non-corrosive liquids of similar viscosity. Typical fuel flow applications include aircraft fuel monitoring systems; gasoline, diesel, and gas turbine engine test stands; and industrial furnaces.
The transducers give repeatable signals on gasoline across a 100 to 1 flow range down to 0.3 GPH. The higher viscosity of diesel fuel reduces signal repeatability at flow rates below 2 GPH. Pressure drops are very low compared to other turbine flow transducers. The transducer bearing system is rated for continuous operation at the upper end of the flow range. The transducers produce a current pulse signal from an opto-electronic pickup with a preamplifier. Electrical Specifications: 12 to 15 VDC between RED (+) wire and BLACK (-) wire. 30 to 50 mA at 12 VDC. Signal Specifications: Open collector transistor output on WHITE wire. Sensor will pull-down to 1.0 volt with 10-15k ohm pull-up resistor installed.

Came with everything I needed to install. Works great.
JPI EDM GRAVITY FUEL FLOW TRANSDUCER 231 TSO
This one is the second one I buy Durability one year !
JPI EDM GRAVITY FUEL FLOW TRANSDUCER 231 TSO
Good technology, admittedly it is a replacement after 5 years of service. My conversations with JPI have been informative and supportive over the years. I’d recommend the EDM 700.
Received it a day earlier than expected

Yes, a fire sleeve is included with the JPI EDM 700 (10-27094).
The JPI EDM 700 (10-27094) is compatible with the FS 450 (10-00134) however do not connect the red wire from the FS 450 to the EDM 700.
Yes, this is compatible with the EDM 730.
We do not have any data showing this will work in marine applications.
No, for fuel injected engines, use Part# 10-27089.
You will also have to purchase the harness.
K factor is on the transducer in permanent marker. The pilots guide explains how to adjust. Injected starts 29.00 and gravity 19.00.
No, This will not work with a Hoskins unit.
