Site said it was back ordered, but I ordered it anyway. It shipped immediately! Had it in a couple of days. Installed in a my PA28-161. Hopefully it lasts miss than two years. Time well tell.

1975 Cessna 172M. Wing nuts on the posts make the battery box lid tilted a bit. Nothing dangerous, but the next time I pop the top cowling Im going to change the wing nuts to the brass bolts that came with the battery. That should allow the box lid to fully close.

Yes, this is the new LT series Gill that replaces the old G-25S. The applications are the same for both batteries.

The Gill batteries are now starting to be changed from CCA to now being rated in IPP and IPR ratings.

After installation of a new battery, Gill requires a capacity check to be performed at 1,800150 hours or 18 months, whichever comes first, with subsequent capacity checks performed every 900150hours or 9 months. Please refer to aircraft manufacturers guidelines for further clarification.
