Overview

As an owner of one of the finest aircraft available, you probably wonder if it could get any better. Well, it was tough to do but it has been done. The Met-Co-Aire, Inc. Hoerner wing tip adds performance and improves the appearance of an already beautiful bird. The lines are simple but effective. If you have any doubt just ask Beech, it is standard equipment on their "S" models and the beautiful V35 series.

Their design reduces drag while smoothing the airflow along the wing and control surfaces. By minimizing the vortices caused by the wing and actually having them start later their tip gives performance increases without the usual penalties. They CAN get increases in climb and in cruise. They CAN reduce stall without adversely affecting handling. You may not think you’re taking off from a carrier, but you may think you took out a new plane.

Their tips installed on your aircraft will:
• Increase cruise 3-6 mph
• Increase rate of climb 75-100 ft./min.
• Increase stability with more positive aileron control
• Decrease stall speed 4-5 mph.
• Decrease distance for take-off

All Met-Co-Aire products are constructed of hand laid up, aircraft grade fiberglass in a polyester resin matrix. They come covered with a white gel-coat that serves as a primer for painting. Their Bonanza tips come with both FAA STC and PMA approvals.
