The PAR 200B Audio Panel, hasn’t changed, the user interface has received a great amount of attention. The result is much easier to use and features a brilliant display and simplifies access to advanced functions.
The PAR200B is a full-featured audio selector panel with a 4-place stereo IntelliVox® (completely automatic VOX system) intercom and Bluetooth® interconnectivity. The VHF radio is remotely mounted to minimize the amount of panel space required. It also includes a built-in 10 Watt Speaker Amplifier. Another major enhancement is the addition of IntelliAudio®. This true dimensional sound system allows the pilot to pay attention to the radio that is important at any instant in time. This makes it much easier for the pilot to copy the weather while being able to identify when he hears ATC call his tail number. And to add flexibility, PS Engineering has included the highly lauded Bluetooth® technology. The pairing of phones or Bluetooth® enables audio devices is easily achieved for wireless entertainment. Telephone calls can be distributed in three different ways (as determined by the ICS switch). The pilot can make a private phone call, the crew can make a call, or all on board can be in on the conversation. And for music inputs, there are two different inputs and two types of music distribution. The standard configuration allows music 1 (or Bluetooth® to go to the crew while the passengers hear music too. The other selection allows music 1 (or Bluetooth) to go to all headsets. Up to 5 discrete radio frequencies can be stored in non-volatile memory for quick dial-up as well as being able to swap from and Com 1 to Com 2 by way of a yoke mounted switch. All installing hardware for the audio panel and radio are included. Microphone and Headphone jacks are not included. The PAR200B has fully independent power supplies so you can power up the radio or audio panel individually. And if you have a second Com or Navcom, you can use it as Com 1 and use our remote radio as Com 2. The PAR200B uses the same tray and connector as the GMA240, GMA340, PMA8000 series. However, there is additional wiring that is required to interface the Com Radio to the audio panel. |
Got this PAR 200b to replace an old dead KX-125 that was not repairable. Excellent choice and quality sound reception and transmission. Love the additional features of the new audio panel with the 2 Bluetooth capability. Making a phone call from the plane is simple and sound quality so good the party you are speaking with can’t even tell the engine in the plane is running.
I recently had one of these installed in my 182 and I could not be happier with the performance and functionality of this thing. The book says that the TY91 has to be wired as comm 1 to be able to monitor the standby frequency. Mine was wired as comm 2 and this feature still works.

Yes, the PAR200B is a drop=in replacement for the 200A. It does require modification to the installation. A logbook entry is all that is required.
Yes, the tray will be included with this unit.
Part# 11-17542 is the unit only with connector kit and tray. Headphone and mic jack are sold separately. No custom harness is supplied. We make custom harnesses for this as well, refer to part numbers 11-13160 & 11-13161. The harnesses require the connector that comes with the 200b, so the unit and harness need to be |ordered at the same time so we can use the connector. When you add the base unit to the shopping cart, you will be prompted with the harness options to add.
