If you own an amateur-built aircraft this is the book you need. It contains hundreds of pictures illustrating problem areas that can be unique to amateur-built aircraft. The kits today are much more advanced than in the past, allowing more aircraft to be completed. However, the skills needed to maintain the aircraft tend to be self-taught. This guide will show you where to look for problem areas. It does not tell you how to fix them. That will be in a future maintenance book. |
Excellent book with great pictures. It will help a lot with condition inspections.
Excellent book, even though expensive. I feel not unreasonable considering the high quality color photos, clear text, and low volume of possible customers. Very well written by an expert in then field with decades of experience. Did I mention superb photographic examples of failure to do it safely and correctly? -). Highly recommended.
