This will last 2-3 years as long as it is properly stored with no moisture.

Q: How much tire talc does it take per tire/tube?

This would depend on the tire size. Best bet is to speak with an A&P mechanic to see what their preference would be on how much to use on your tire/tube. There is no data / table / chart to refer to with how much to use.
