If you want a US-made, single-needle altimeter you can read at a glance, this is a must-have item. The case is unsealed, so there is no need to plumb it to your static-system...if you do, the static-system will leak. Just throw it in the panel and go!

Aircraft Spruce placed the incorrect part number on the altimeter box. They are currently correcting the problem.

Purchased 10-02436, installed in experimental aircraft, set the pressure from ATIS and found the altimeter to be 200 feet off both from known field elevation and gps indication. Aircraft Spruce would not allow return because it had been installed.

Q: Is this p/n 10-02436 certified?

No, p/n 10-02436 is not intended for certified aircraft.

Q: Is part # 10-05132 TSO Approved?

No. Part number 10-05132 is not TSO'd. The only TSO'd altimeters that we carry are the United altimeter product line.

Q: Does the 5500 feet altimeter show higher altitude (second time around) like the falcon 6000 / 12000 feet model?

It will continue to go around, but you will not have a third hand to indicate whether or not you are above or below the 5500 feet.

Q: Are the UMA altimeters listed on this page lighted or non-lighted?

These instruments are non-lighted.

Q: Does this altimeter have a single hole in the back for the tube to attach? Where is it manufactured?

For the 3-1/8" Altimeters, no connection is required unless it is installed in a pressurized cabin or a open cockpit with moving air behind the panel. It is not to be connected to static line. If a line is needed, it should be flexible tubing 1/4" OD X .028" - .035" ID. All UMA instruments are manufactured in the United States.

Q: What is the rear depth of the UMA altimeter units?

The depth of the unit is 2.75 inches.

Q: UMA 3-1/8 ALT 0-20 Part # 10-22965: Is this instrument TSOed and if so, does than mean it is IFA certified?

No, these altimeters are not FAA Approved. They are intended for use in experimental aircraft only.

Q: Can p/n 10-05120 be used for AGL only in an ultralight?

Yes, this can be used in an ultralight. This unit only goes up to 5,500 feet.

Q: Good morning, P/N 10-22965 is 0 to 20,000 ft?
