YAESU FTA 850L HANDHELD TRANSCEIVER
Awesome radio. GPS function works great. Lots of features. Only downside is the volume. My EAB is noisy. Learned handheld speaker is 8 ohm. Headsets are 300 ohm. Not enough to have full volume. Built line jack with transformer to up the ohm. (See Google). Works better.

YAESU FTA 850L HANDHELD TRANSCEIVER
This is a really good handheld. I did not have any issues setting it up. The manual is pretty well written. I downloaded and used the software to program the frequencies I wanted. The number of memory slots and groups are way adequate for me. I have not yet had a chance to try the nav features yet. This replaced my Vertex VX-710 which was still functioning and working.
